Earlier today Jan and I attended a Journey Drumming led by my teacher, friend and fellow high desert Elder, Valerie Eagleheart. For this Drumming, we Journeyed to the Upper World to meet our Ancestors and Teachers. I had a wonder filled trip.
I was met at the foot of the Crystal Rainbow Bridge by Chiron, no less! He carried me over the span astride him, depositing me on the “other side” but staying by my side as the image of my most Sacred Teacher, Mother Earth, appeared before us, a beautiful blue green Being, Her surface pulsing with life. And then I heard, “You may hug me.”
And I knew that I could reach out and wrap me arms around the luscious, living body. And I did, holding Her to me and just pulsing love and healing energy (remember that’s Chiron, the wounded healer standing next to me), from my heart chakra into her. It was so peaceful and She, so easy to love.
And then this message was there:
“If you want to heal, energize and protect Me, YOU can do it all by yourself. If YOU do it
and you are a Creator Conscious part of the Unified ONE, you have all the power you need to heal me. Take the responsibility upon yourself. Just do it. You. You don’t need to marshal the forces. Those Self Realized Elements of ONE who hear your message are so equipped to do the job. If any One does it, so do ALL, as we are all ONE Creator and fully capable of this small task.”
And then the Drum called us back.
