As you may know, I have embarked on a hiatus from Monday morning Harmonic Concordance Blog postings. Each doctor, nurse and physical therapist that I have seen continues to be impressed with the pace of my physical recuperation. That’s all good. Very good, indeed. However, I must make a start in my non-physical recovery, even if in mincing steps. The mental, emotional, and spiritual gears need a good oiling. So I will start here, with the serial publication of what I call, The Nine Directions.
These Directions, are based on elements, applications and nomenclature derived from ancient Egyptian and Greek rites, widely acknowledged, ages old Wisdom and Pagan teachings, New Age beliefs, as well as on several different indigenous Native American traditions and a smattering of astrology. Collectively they represent what has become my personal and continuing inner journey to Self-Knowledge. They are what I aspire to in my Spiritual Life. It is also my hope that they may ring a note of truth for you too.
This series, although archived on the Blog, has been “on my shelf” for a number of years. I did teach a course on them in the months leading up to the 2012 Mayan Calendar “due date,” but have done little with them since. I have spiffed them up a bit in the past four years, but the main theme(s) and images remain as they were.
As a decided break from the Monday morning Blog postings, these Nine will be published each Wednesday evening at 6:00 pm PST here, and for the next nine weeks. I find it an interesting journey and hope that you might like to come along on it with me.
