Our Final Harmonic Concordance Blog Post

“At the end of the day, it is what it is.”

In closing my work on the Concordance Blog, my first word must indeed, be Gratitude.  For so many things and to so many people.  For prayers of healing before, during and after my surgeries, for sure.  But also for the friendships that I’ve been blessed with and the amazing amount of personal and Spiritual knowledge I have been gifted through editing the Blog’s content.

Of course, there are many individuals I would like to thank.  Some who have known and supported me since before my Concordance days and through many different endeavors.  Still, others who have contributed time, thought and dedication to the Blog’s “Conversations with Spirit,” in service to our greater Spiritual Literacy. Others have guided the Blog’s look and user-friendly navigation.  I wish that there were a way to thank each and every one of you individually.

I began the Blog in February of 2013, hosting a dozen brave souls willing to supply content, free of charge, and sharing some of the wisdom gained during their own Spiritual Journeys: 12 authors, 12 Themes. We leave the web today with 55 “Voices” speaking about almost as many themes, all of which shall be archived here in perpetuity.

Statistics show that the Blog’s reach was growing.  Great!  So why shut down now?

Well, as I said last week, this past 10 months have given me an up-close-and-personal look at my own mortality and now, with surgeries in the rear view mirror and settling in for a longer than anticipated and more physically challenging recovery, it’s made me take a look at how I want to spend my increasingly limited resources, especially in terms of time.  At 75, I do still have time to do our “bucket list,” which must necessarily be limited to accommodate our financial resources.  But it basically comes down to this: I could spend more time and money on the Blog, or on living out loud.  Tilt!

And so I leave you in hopes that our Blog has helped shed some light on the ginormous Being that YOU are, for this is what the Concordance Quest has been about from the get-go.

This too, I know: that I will carry your energy, my dear supporters, contributors and readers, one and all, for the rest of my life.  You are in my heart and prayers too, and I love you all.
